Mick Foster started his Autosmart business in 2015 and came from a totally different background, working for an engineering company as a Production Planner. He took on the Hull franchise with a modest customer base and smashed his sales targets to successfully increase turnover by 125%.
Autosmart like to recognize hard work within their network and at their recent company conference, awarded Mick with “Best Growth” for the under 3 years category and presented Mick with a voucher for a weekend trip to a European destination of his choice!
Key to his success has been his drive to offer customers a great service and to never let anyone down. He is always on the road early and aims for a minimum of 20 calls every day.
Mick explains the secret to his success:
“I found that visiting lots of prospective customers was just the boost the business needed. I discovered that at first they may have been reluctant to change supplier, returning back at a time to suit them and showing them the benefits of the Autosmart range of products really worked!
“My customers really appreciate me being punctual and reliable, having the product range they need on board my showroom and giving them honest advice to what best suits their business needs from the Autosmart range.
“I’ve really enjoyed the challenge of setting up my own business, seeing it grow and being able to plan my life around my work. As with any business you will have plenty of challenges, but with Autosmart you have a strong team and support behind you giving you all the advice you need.”
