Matt Stokes, new Autosmart franchisee in Ashford & Tonbridge

Matt Stokes takes on the established Autosmart franchise close to where he grew up in Ashford.  Working in Telecom Sales for 30 years, Matt wanted to leave the office behind and become his own boss.  After carrying out research on van-based franchises, he quickly realised that his stars were aligned with Autosmart’s.

Matt comments, “It became apparent that Autosmart were head and shoulders above the rest.  They’re an established brand whose franchise offers monthly repeat sales and more importantly there is a significant resale value to the business, which will certainly help me with my pension pot!

Mike Parker, new Autosmart franchisee in Cwmbran

Mike Parker takes the reins on the Cwmbran franchise in South Wales.  Mike spent his whole career in engineering, most recently in the position of Projects Director for a lifting and tipping company.

Mike tells us, “Becoming a Projects Director gave me just the confidence I needed to believe that I could become my own boss.  I wanted to secure my future and be in control of my own destiny and I knew that I was capable of going it alone.

“I looked around at electrical wholesaling businesses and at other franchises.  The package with Autosmart stood out for me.  There seems to be a genuine partnership with Autosmart, with support, care and interest from head office.
