At Autosmart we’re committed to actively reducing our impact on the environment. Therefore we’re taking action against plastic waste and other environment & safety challenges to achieve real and lasting results.

We conduct our business practices in a socially responsible manner and have delivered the following environmental changes across our business:

• We’ve maintained our manufacturing operations to ISO accreditations standards – ISO 9001 and ISO14001, as a result our impact on the environment is measured, controlled and reduced

• Over the last ten years we have reduced our use of environmentally hazardous materials by 90% per litre of finished products, despite increased manufacturing volumes

• Our refillable Barrels For Life save nearly 75 million wasted plastic bottles per year, equating to nearly 3000 tonnes of plastic waste saved

• We are committed to using 100% of our electricity from renewable sources. We currently receive renewably sourced electricity at 3 of our 4 sites

Our products are manufactured in-house by an enthusiastic team of chemists and specialist experts. Our customers include car dealerships, valeters, hauliers, vehicle rental companies, bodyshops, agricultural dealers, coach and bus operators, plant hire and construction and food processors. And we’re proud they rate us ‘Five Star – Excellent’ on Trustpilot. No other company has such capacity and expertise. For instance, we currently clean over 50% of the UK’s new cars. By leading the way in the sector, we have unique knowledge and expertise of specialist cleaning chemicals and processes.
